1st METALLICO Review Meeting

On 17 September, 2024, we had our first Review Meeting - and it was a success!

During the meeting, the work done so far in the different Work Packages was presented and discussed. As a highlight, Fraunhofer IKTS took the whole consortium to their labs. There, together with TU Bergakademie Freiberg, they demonstrate the recovery of lithium from spodumene through the COOL+ process in pilot scale.

Of course, there was also space for a social get together in the evening in the city of Freiberg: We enjoyed a little city tour and a dinner.

We would like to thank our Project Officer Andrej Rožkov and the reviewer Laurent Cassayre for their valuable comments and questions and for the interesting discussions with the whole consortium. And of course a big thank you to our partners of Fraunhofer IKTS who organized the meeting in their facilities in Freiberg, Germany.
