By combining advanced chemistry, innovative mining practices and circular-economy approaches, METALLICO aims to reduce environmental impact while strengthening Europe’s strategic autonomy.
To bring this work closer to the public, METALLICO is launching a new podcast that opens the doors to the project’s people, processes and everyday challenges. The series is guided by Julia, a fictional high-school science teacher who helps translate complex concepts into clear, engaging conversations.
Through her interviews with Engineers, Chemists, mining operators and industry partners, listeners discover how modern mining really works—and why these innovations matter for Europe’s technological and environmental future.
